Government Affairs Committee Meeting
You are invited to attend the upcoming Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee’s meeting on Thursday, May 10, 2018.
The Beverly Hills City Council recently approved the closure of Canon Drive at Wilshire Blvd. during the course of major construction at that location for Section 2 of the Purple Line Subway. Amongst other items, we will have a presentation and discussion about the proposed design of the cul de sac at that location as well as a general update about construction.
A representative from Southern California Edison will be on hand to discuss and seek support for the BRITE coalition to promote a statewide energy and management approach to wildfires.
We will hear also review and evaluate positions on several pieces of legislation.
This will be an excellent opportunity to learn about the important issues impacting our City and region and to provide your input! Please join us!
