Government Affairs Committee Meeting
Please come out for our August Government Affairs Committee meeting where we will be discussing and voting on matters of interest to the business community.
We will be hearing a presentation regarding the LA Metro Purple Line Subway and the draft Memorandum of Agreement that will govern the construction of the station at Wilshire and Reeves Drive over the next several years.
Proposition 4 is on the November ballot and would authorize $1.5 billion in bonds for children's hospitals. Come hear a presentation on this important measure.
Proposition 6 is a measure to repeal SB 1, the Road Repair & Accountability Act of 2017, which provides $5.2 annually for road repairs and transportation infrastructure. Come hear a presentation regarding this measure and its potential impact.
We will also get updates on important local, state and federal matters!
