Rafael Zuniga
Regional Outreach Stakeholder Manager
California State Board of Equalization
Rafael Zuniga currently works in the Outreach Services Division for the California State Board of Equalization and is responsible for education and outreach events within the Third Equalization District.
Prior to his current position, Rafael worked on special assignment with the office of Chairman Jerome E. Horton managing the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program and other initiatives sponsored by the Chairman. Rafael also has experience working as a Business Taxes Representative and worked at the California Employment Development Department where he was responsible for education and outreach to the employer community.
Rafael served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
