Beverly Hills Chamber Contributor Sandra Costa Design-Build Group Joins Chef Adriano Costa of Buns n Roses and Angelo Costa of EPS-Security to Support Phoenix Dojo Gala Honoring 43 Years of Gerry Blanck’s Legacy
United in Purpose, the Costa Family Donates Design, Culinary Services, and Security to Rebuild Dojo and Uplift Displaced Youth

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Sandra Costa Design-Build Architectural Group, a Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce contributor, joined forces with culinary trailblazer Chef Adriano Costa of Buns n Roses Gourmet Burgers and Angelo Costa, CEO of Elite Protection Solutions, to support the Phoenix Dojo Gala, a heartfelt fundraiser held May 17 honoring 43 years of Gerry Blanck’s martial arts legacy in Pacific Palisades. The event marked the rebirth of the dojo tragically destroyed in the recent LA wildfires—displacing not only the training center, but the homes and schools of over 180 of its young students.

With a shared mission of youth empowerment and wildfire recovery, each member of the Costa family contributed their expertise to support the launch of the Gerry Blanck Martial Arts Foundation, which aims to expand access to martial arts for underprivileged youth across Los Angeles.

Chef Adriano Costa, known for his rock-inspired, over-the-top burger creations like The Limp Brisket, To Rib and Die in LA, and AC/D Cheese, donated a $500 gourmet burger catering package to the event’s fundraising auction. For his contribution, he received a Certificate of Recognition from Sensei Gerry Blanck. Buns n Roses—LA’s rising culinary pop-up—is more than a food brand; it’s a cultural movement combining music, street flavor, and community purpose.

“It was an honor to be part of such a meaningful cause,” said Chef Adriano. “Martial arts teaches self-protection, confidence, and discipline—values we carry in everything we do.”

Renowned designer Dr. Sandra Costa, founder of the Sandra Costa Design Group, unveiled the conceptual architectural design for the new dojo and served as Associate Producer of the gala, helping elevate awareness and support for the rebuilding effort. Her contribution reflects a commitment to sustainable, community-focused design.

Angelo Costa, a 25-year martial arts veteran and leader in Beverly Hills’ private security sector, supported the gala with his company Elite Protection Solutions (EPS). Angelo, who personally trains his high-profile protection teams, blends martial arts principles into both EPS and Chef Adriano’s culinary operations—ensuring discipline, precision, and safety at every level.

From bold burger concepts to cutting-edge design and elite security services, the Costa family continues to transform vision into reality across Los Angeles. Their collective contributions to the Phoenix Dojo Gala are just the latest example of their dedication to innovation, empowerment, and community healing.
